Frequently asked questions
Does cropping reduce quality?
Cropping removes pixels outside the selected area but does not invent or stretch detail. Choosing JPG or WebP can also apply lossy encoding.
What is the difference between crop and resize?
Cropping changes composition by removing an area. Resizing keeps the full composition and changes pixel dimensions.
Can I crop several images at once?
No. Each image needs an intentional composition, so this tool focuses on one image at a time.
Are transparent images supported?
Yes. PNG and WebP transparency is preserved unless you export as JPG.
