JPG, PNG, and WebP
Files are processed on this device and removed when you close or refresh the page.
01
Choose one or several static JPG, PNG, or WebP files.
Choose a quality level for JPG or WebP. PNG is re-encoded without a quality slider because browsers do not offer meaningful PNG quality control.
Compare file sizes and download one result or a ZIP of the batch.
02
Encoding happens in your browser, not on an upload server.
Only controls that affect the selected output format are shown.
One failed file does not stop the rest of your queue.
03
No. Supported images are processed locally in your browser. Pixlery does not receive your files.
Not by default. The compressor keeps the original pixel dimensions unless you enable a maximum dimension.
Browser PNG encoding does not use the same quality setting as JPG or WebP, so Pixlery does not show a control that would not change the result.
Some files are already highly optimized. Pixlery shows the real result so you can keep the original when it is better.
Keeping PNG format re-encodes the image in your browser. An already optimized PNG can become larger after re-encoding. If the result is bigger, keep the original—or try WebP or JPG for photos.
JPG cannot store transparency. The background color only replaces transparent pixels when you export PNG or WebP as JPG. Images without transparent areas look the same regardless of the color you pick.
